Sinclair is asking for more than any other station anywhere in the country," said Dave Shull, senior vice president of programming for Dish. Hey there,

I'm a long time roleplayer and I used to be active on this site(several years ago), but I don't remember my e-mail,username or password, so I was pretty SOL and just made a new account. With that being said, I have been actively roleplaying for approximately 12 years, give or take a few years-and my first few years were a pathetic attempt at roleplaying and really should not even be considered that, but I digress. Currently, I've been roleplaying with the same partner consistently (with several replies a day) for about 2 years. I need something else though in order to keep my creative juices alive, and I'm looking to add one (or maybe two-three) roleplays to my agenda. I'm not a ditcher, I'm obviously extremely capable of maintaing a friendship/roleplay for several years.

Some things to keep in mind, I *am* a college student, and I'm entering my senior year and will be occasionally busy with job interviews/offers and what not. I am 21, and I would prefer my partner is over the age of 18, if not I feel like a creep and I usually won't roleplay with anyone younger than that. It also helps with the maturity, because most of my characters are early to mid twenties and I enjoy roleplaying adults. Also, please do *not* come to me stating you only play females, because....shut up. I'm not playing your fantasy boyfriend. I would prefer someone who is a pretty frequent poster. I require once a week, or else I'll get extremely bored. Once a day would be better yet. You can expect several replies out of me a day, I have a lot of down time between classes (I commute and I'm at school sometimes for 14+ hours for only 3 hours of class lol). I also don't care what time zone or whatever you are in, and if it is a concern for you...you should know it won't be a problem. I don't sleep but an hour or two a night. My replies range from about 400-600 words on average, though I have gone up to several thousand before while explaining something or having a dramatic scene.

I enjoy romance, but it does not need to be the main focal point. If it goes the romance route I will only do hetero, sorry.
I roleplay over e-mail, PMs and threads. NO messengers.
Limits can be discussed, I don't mind violence or blood. I will not roleplay explicit scenes, too often it turns in to people cybering. I prefer no abusive relationships-it's a sensitive subject for me.
I won't be able to PM until I have 10 posts under my belt...so...post here, or PM a messenger to contact you at-I have them all, and will contact you via messenger shortly after.
I only do modern day realistic, although I *may* be convinced to do an AU or fantasy if you convince me...you'll have to be patient/help me though.

On to the roleplays:

I will do anything based off a song, I'm wicked good at coming up with a plot based off of song. So if you want to give that a go, let me know.

I have /loose/ plots for the following roleplays. I don't like to have everything set in stone, I prefer a loose guideline and coming up with the rest of the roleplay together. I want you to enjoy it as much as me.

1. I want to play around with an 'online' relationship. Character A and Character B who are both 'bloggers' and have been for several years, and they have blogged about their life changes and their life experiences. They each have their own sets of problems but have become reliant on one another. Eventually they meet and develop a real friendship but they have to struggle to balance a friendship outside of the internet and it has the potential to move in to romance, but they are both emotionally or socially damaged and it will be a struggle. The first part of the roleplay would obviously take place over blog entries/e-mails back and forth between the characters.

2. A young character about 24-26 or so who has a young child in their care (either a sibling or their own child) and the struggle to have a relationship at a young age while juggling the care of a child and the drama that inevitably brings forth.

3. A married soldier/wife duo who are dealing with the effects of PTSD and rekindling of a marriage after years of being apart. Or a soldier who was injured and has little to no recollection of his young family at home. I would prefer to be the wife character in this one, although.

4. Any plot you may have! I am all ears when it comes to plots, and I would love to hear your ideas. Or even just rough ideas you want help in further developing.

His vision for Girls Day Out is ?a unique forum for artists and professionals to communicate ?life in the fast lane.?

There will be two panels at the Girls Day Out event: an artist?s panel featuring performers and songwriters, and an industry panel featuring women in media, non profits, radio, management, venues, schools, labels and more. Everyone involved (with exception of one panelist from Oakland) represents the Sacramento region?s music scene. The artist panel will be moderated by Mercedes Kovak Novac, and the panelists will be Autumn Sky, Ricky Berger, Jessie Brune, Kathie Rollins, Alina Kamilchu, Liz Liles and Theresa Keene. Ford building in more factory flexibility

(Reuters) - Ford Motor Co said some of its new plants in Asia will be able to build up to seven vehicles as part of the automaker's new One Manufacturing flexible global production system, announced Monday at a management conference in Traverse City, Michigan.

Ford, under the One Manufacturing banner, is planning to open nine new plants in its Asia Pacific Africa (APA) region, boosting annual production capacity there to 2.9 million vehicles.

The company said it hopes to sell 8 million vehicles a year worldwide by mid-decade, suggesting the APA region could provide a third or more of those global sales.

Ford also said it is cutting the number of global vehicle platforms and plans to increase its global capacity utilization 27 percent by 2016.

The One Manufacturing system was detailed by John Fleming, Ford's executive vice president of global manufacturing, who said the system is designed to provide "standard processes, greater flexibility and improved investment efficiency."

As part of that efficiency, Ford by 2015 will be able to build 25 percent more vehicle derivatives at each plant, Fleming said.

The automaker's newest plants are being designed to use common manufacturing processes, such as flexible body shops, and standard systems to track material, delivery, maintenance and environmental costs.

Ford said greater use of virtual tools that simulate how cars are built will help "reduce the cost of new plants and improve the efficiencies of new model changeovers."

Cambodians find possible Khmer Rouge mass grave

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) ? Villagers in northwestern Cambodia unearthed what could be a mass grave from the Khmer Rouge era with about 20 skulls and some leg bones bound with rope, officials said Monday.

The village is near a former Khmer Rouge prison and the site is believed to be one of the "killing fields" from the regime's brutal rule in the 1970s. It wasn't yet known if Saturday's discovery of skulls and other skeletal remains involved more than 20 victims.

The Documentation Center of Cambodia, which has collected evidence about Khmer Rouge atrocities, had identified the area in 1998 as having several mass graves based on interviews with hundreds of villagers but it was never excavated, said Youk Chhang, director of the center.

"We estimate that 35,000 or more people died at this site," the director said.

An estimated 1.7 million Cambodians ? about one in five people in the small Southeast Asian country ? died of torture, starvation, medical neglect, hard labor and execution during the Khmer Rouge's 1975-79 reign. The group ran nearly 200 prisons where prisoners were tortured before being killed.

The discovery of a new mass grave would be the first since a U.N.-backed tribunal put five former high-ranking Khmer Rouge officials on trial for genocide and other crimes beginning in 2009.

Authorities ordered digging crews to the area, about 60 kilometers (40 miles) from Siem Reap, home to Cambodia's famed Angkor Wat temples, said Siem Reap governor Sou Phirin.

"I cannot say how many bodies are buried here, but these people were killed under the Khmer Rouge regime," said Sou Phirin.

The bones were transferred to a Buddhist temple where a prayer ceremony would be performed.

"We have collected the bodies and put them in a proper place," the governor said. "We will not let them stay in a grave like this anymore."

One of the facility's former prisoners, 52-year-old Ing Mara, said she was beaten, whipped and kept chained at the neck in a prison cell during a 1-year detention. She escaped when the Khmer Rouge was overthrown in 1979 and recalled the horror of seeing other prisoners being led to the mass grave site and never returning.

"I watched so many prisoners being taken to the killing place, every night," Ing Mara said in a telephone interview. "I am in shock that their bodies are now being discovered."

The Khmer Rouge's chief jailer was sentenced to life in prison for war crimes, and the trial of three other leaders is ongoing at the U.N.-tribunal. A fifth defendant's mental fitness for trial has been challenged.

Further trials are in doubt because of funding trouble and resistance within Cambodia to prosecuting more Khmer Rouge figures.

LONDON -- British police will examine allegations that U.K. intelligence officials were complicit in the alleged torture of a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay.

It could lead British detectives to ask the U.S. government for permission to interview Shaker Aamer at the detention center in Cuba.

Aamer's case is one of three that are to be considered by detectives with London's Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). The investigations are understood to include allegations against officials with Britain's MI6 and MI5 intelligence services.?

Despite President Obama's vow to shut down Guantanamo Bay, the nation's most expensive prison is undergoing some costly new updates that would allow the facility to remain open for years. NBC's Michael Isikoff reports.

The decision was made by a joint Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and Metropolitan Police panel. Earlier this year, the panel decided detectives should investigate claims of British involvement in the ill treatment of two Libyan men and their families.
