Lulu.com announced it will pledge $30,000 to BookLamp's "The Game of Books" kickstarter campaign, designed to bring the joys of reading to a new generation. The contribution amounts to almost a third of the campaign's fundraising target.
The Verizon Foundation awarded the SECU Family House on the Richard J. Reynolds III & Marie M. Reynolds Campus a $11,216.00 grant.? This gift will go towards the Family House's Family Assistance Fund, which helps to bridge the gap between the operational cost of a room and the amount a patient or caregiver is able to pay.
The second annual Expressions gala, benefiting the Lucy Daniels Center's Family Support Fund, raised more than $97,000 through sponsorships, ticket sales, and the evening's silent and live auctions.
